We are pleased to announce the completion of a major renovation and renewal project at the The Japanese Association, Singapore, located along Adam Road.
Established as a key gathering place for the Japanese community since 1915, the Association’s clubhouse—opened in 1998—has long served as a cultural and social hub, offering a wide range of facilities including restaurants, classrooms, a library, and event spaces.
The latest works focused on a comprehensive upgrade of the existing facilities, including:
These upgrades respond to the evolving needs of the Association’s members, ensuring that the clubhouse continues to support a diverse range of activities—from cultural programs to social gatherings and community events.
The design approach was guided by the original vision of the clubhouse as a place for interaction, exchange, and community engagement. The renewed spaces aim to create a more contemporary and welcoming environment while maintaining the cultural character of the Association.
By refining both the interior environments and the external façade, the project strengthens the overall identity of the building and enhances its presence as a landmark for the Japanese community in Singapore.
Since its completion, the clubhouse has undergone periodic upgrades to adapt to changing lifestyles and expectations.
This latest renovation continues that legacy—ensuring the facility remains relevant, functional, and meaningful for future generations.
